See What's Moving Before Wall Street Wakes Up
Most of us hear about a stock move after it happens — an earnings report, an AI contract, a sector suddenly running — and by the time the news reaches us, the opportunity is gone.
We created Elite Trade Club to fix that.
Each trading day, our team publishes a pre-market briefing built for active traders: stocks surging or collapsing before the open, key earnings that could move markets, under-the-radar companies gaining institutional attention, and the macro events worth watching today.
Fast, practical, straight to the point.
That's why 450,000+ traders rely on us every morning. Get the daily briefing free — no cost, no catch.

Wednesday, October 14 — Meridian
67°
Sunrise is at 7:56 a.m., sunset at 7:06 p.m.
Sunny. The NWS point forecast file for Meridian itself was last updated Oct. 6, so the number comes from Idaho News 6's live Boise strip, which says 67 and sunny. The strip was posted Tuesday morning and carries no overnight low for tonight. Plan for the high 60s, and for a warmer finish than the cold morning suggests.
The rest of the week (Idaho News 6 forecast): Thursday is 72 and sunny, Friday reaches the mid to upper 70s, and sunshine and dry weather continue through the weekend. Football and Halloween-dance weather, basically.

Recycle the Fall is back, with curbside pickup and nine drop sites

Meridian's free leaf composting program, Recycle the Fall, returns for another season, according to Idaho News 6 and the City of Meridian. Curbside collection runs Nov. 2 to Dec. 4 and takes leaves only, with no branches, pumpkins or garden plants. Use paper bags or loose leaves in your yard debris cart, with no tape or staples, up to 10 bags a week, and set them out by 6 a.m. on your regular trash day. Leaf trucks may collect as late as 7 p.m.
Prefer to haul it yourself? Neighborhood drop sites open Oct. 20 and run through Dec. 10 at Fuller, Gordon Harris, Heroes, Kleiner, Renaissance, Settlers, Storey and Tully parks, plus the Meridian Transfer Station at 2130 W. Franklin Rd. The Ada County Landfill takes leaves through Dec. 12 during business hours. Last year the program collected about 1,131 tons of leaves. Drop-site hours weren't listed, so check the city page. Read more →

Meridian is hiring volunteers for two city commissions

The City of Meridian is accepting applications for the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Solid Waste Advisory Commission. Applications are due Friday, Oct. 23, by 5 p.m. Planning and Zoning advises city leaders on land use, zoning, transportation and housing, has up to nine voting members on three-year terms and meets the first and third Thursdays at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The solid waste panel advises the mayor and council on trash and recycling and meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m.
Both are unpaid, and you must live inside city limits or the area of impact. Apply online or drop a letter of interest, a resume and the application at City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Ave. The mayor appoints and the City Council confirms. The city didn't say how many seats are open on the solid waste panel. Read more →

🧠 Trivia answer: Mountain View High School.
According to the City of Meridian's parks page, Gordon Harris Park sits behind Mountain View High School at 2400 E. Three Bars Dr. The 11-acre park was established in 2007 and has a playground, a pathway and a picnic shelter that holds up to 50 people. It also has a pond, but the city lists it as unstocked, so leave the fishing rod at home. This season it doubles as a leaf drop site. Read more →
